This year it was my seventh time in Rio and for the first time I came for the carnival. And also it was the third time I rented with SatrtBrazil. There is a big difference between staying in a hotel room and renting an apartment - feeling that you are living in this marvelous city, not just visiting as an average gringo. I stayed in 3 different apartments: CA3B6 (AV NSA de Copacabana 1227) has unforgettable view to Copacabana beach - going to sleep or early in the morning right from your bed you can see the beet of waves on the beach, people jogging, walking, swimming and you can spend hours just watching this. IA2B20 - ml (Rua Teixeira de Melo 50) is really modern (it seems like a very good remodeling of the apartment has been done recently), very clean and convenient apartment just 3 minute away from the metro and round a corner from the busy square - Praca Gen. Osorio with lots of restaurants and shops. IP2B5 (Rua Raul Pompeia 24) is quite expensive, but it's really a good penthouse to have carnival parties - 3 levels, private pool, large balcony and indoor living area, and a terrific view to the city! All the apartments were in very good condition and I don't know how they do it, but you can always call or email management and somebody will bring or fix something you need right in a few minutes. Well in the end the most important about rentals is trust - when you are prepaying deposit, when the apartment is as good as you saw it in the pics, when you are sure that you won't be left alone with some possible household difficulties - my experience proved me that I can trust the team of StartBrazil and next year I'm surely going to rent with them.

The apartment was great! Fantastic location right on the beach with an amazing view! When we requested things to be done they were taken care of promptly. The maids were very friendly. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and it really helped make this a great vacation for all of us.

Im going to Rio for almost 20 years and for the first time i rented an appt with StartBrazil. Everything worked...good shower internet connection clean and sufficient towels everything in the appt was in good condition...friendly doormen and a super safe location 5 min from ipanema beach...an appt you feel at home.

My fourth profesional trip in Rio. Twice I've Used Starbrazil agency (first time an hotel, and second an bad agency). I keep an exellent memory of these apartments (94 and 24 Rua Pompeia). The management is both welcoming and professional. All my date constraints are satisfied. Current status, regular households, Jacuzzi in perfect condition.

I and 2 cousins stayed at an apartment of StartBrazil in Copacabana, Rio in Feb,2011. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Copacabana and not far from Ipanema. The Apt is a block back from the beach but has a beautiful view of the beach. It was a great apartment and the agency was excellent to work with.

Lovely 2 bedroom appartment, as described on website, clean, felt very secure with 24 hour concierge. Wifi and air conditioning worked fine. Staff made us feel very welcome. View from rooftop pool stunning. Liked it so much that for our return stay in Rio after touring Brazil, we cancelled the hotel booking and stayed here again. Definitely reccomended. Thanks!
